Concert Review, Frustration, Etc.
So, Colin Hay’s show Monday night was fantastic. The opener was Dean Fields, who was quite engaging. Quirky, but with a pure, clear voice. We weren’t sure what to expect from Colin, but he was fantastic. He told a lot of really funny stories, a few not so funny, and sang a lot. Don’t ask me what songs, because I haven’t heard many of them, but plan to change that. It was a little disconcerting when he’d tell a funny story that led into a sad song, though.
TSM is turning into a moody, angsty pre-teen, and it’s driving me crazy.
Work is making me crazy, as always. We’re switching to a new payroll system, and the lack of forethought and planning that’s gone into this switch over is appalling. We’re testing through the end of this week, and supposed to go live with it beginning next week. I’ll believe that when it happens.
TOH is off to Texas to visit his family for the rest of the week. I don’t like when he’s gone. I really don’t sleep very well if he’s not in the house. And I think there was a dog and her cold, wet nose trying to wake me up somewhere along the line last night.
So, that’s the update for now. I’m headed off to do battle at the salt mines for another day and then I’ll be home to collapse later.
And this is a perfect example of why I don’t mind that you read here.
Thanks!
Hey, Sis. I always thought your pre-teen (PT) was the perfect pre-teen. Guess perfect only lasts so long. The PT here has been moody (putting it mildly) for the last 2 years - when will it end?
Keep blogging … it makes you feel closer than states away.
And I’ll be so glad when you are.
Goats.
I’ll be home soon
