So…Not a lot to say.

But, now that I have a few regular readers again, I feel like I should say something.

Work still makes me crazy.  Our secretary is on maternity leave (and sort of working from home at the same time), so I’m doing some of her stuff as well as my own.  I haven’t decided whether or not to start looking for jobs again.  I think I might wait until the new director is hired to replace my boss.  But then again, the stars might align and I might not.  I don’t know.

In sewing news, the Viking outfit seemed to go over well.  I haven’t heard back from the actual recipient though, so I think I’ll drop him an email and ask his thoughts.  Next up is another Viking apron dress for a previous client, and then onto the late 17th/early 18th century historical.

I think I’m also going to work on some “work clothes” for me again.  I have 2 suits that I’ve already made, although one needs some slight alterations to the jacket, and the other may need some alterations to the skirt.  I have the pieces cut out for another skirt/jacket set, and plans & fabric for several more.  Klumpen says I need to make/buy/wear more skirts, and now that the weather isn’t frigid anymore, I can start doing that without freezing my legs off in my office.

In knitting news, I picked up the cardigan I’ve been working on forever.  It’s done in Jaeger Como in raspberry.  I have the back and left front completed, and am now working on one sleeve.  I was making fairly good progress, too, until Mewp made me fall asleep in the comfy chair with her.

So, that’s pretty much all that’s new here.  Life continues on as usual.

You really sew a lot. Unfortunately I am so not into sewing though I have many fabrics.
