Wow, I have free weekends again?
So, Faire is over for another year. I’m definitely of mixed emotions about it all. I’ve posted the last few pictures up at my MDRF pix site, and the lovely Talyn has posted some of hers here. There’s actually one of me there! Horrors!
I don’t really know what to say about the season. I love being there, and it was such a welcome relief to be away from the hell of my weekday life. But, it was tiring driving back and forth, and the attendant drama that seems to cling to everyone there is draining.
This past weekend, I got to sleep in, and sew something that wasn’t garb related. (Curtains for TSM’s room, to replace the girly ones that have been there since we bought the house.)
So, that’s about it. I think this evening I’ll head home, lock the bedroom door, fill up the giant tub and soak. Apparently my stress is stressing out my kids. Obviously, it’s all my fault.
