Holy Cow, where does the time go?
I realized this morning that TOH and I have been living together for 17 years now. It was actually last week that it was offically 17 years, but I was still so wiped out by the HFStival that I completely forgot. Some days it feels like we just met.
The weather’s been gorgeous this weekend, but I haven’t really done much of anything. The alternate daughter came over to spend time and hit the sewing room, but I can’t really remember anything else about the day.
Next weekend is Klumpen’s 15th birthday. Another reason to feel old. I’m so not ready for that.
Still no luck with the job search. Of the six jobs, I’ve gotten 4 rejections so far. Makes me feel so confident. Not.
I really need to get started on my Renn costume soon. I think I’ll print out the camica pattern tomorrow and get started on it this week. I’ve also got to get working on the Captain’s coat. I think he’s coming down for Klumpen’s birthday, and a first fitting would be a good idea.
So, back to work tomorrow, and back to the laundry grind before I hit bed.
