Monday Meh
I’m going with the theme here. LOL I was going to take a personal day tomorrow, but my boss is scheduling a meeting, so I need to be there. The weather isn’t too bad, a little chilly, but I really just want some sleep.
I took an antihistamine last night, and it’s made me horribly groggy. Nearly 24 hours later, and I’m still feeling foggy.
So, I’ve been tooling around various blogs, like Pandionna and Rude Cactus, rather than do anything productive. Which is ok with me. Why be productive when you can visit with everyone around the country and around the world through this cool little screen?
Speaking of screens, we got new HUGE 19” flat panel monitors at work. And I think I need glasses. No matter how I futz with the settings, I can’t get the fonts to appear clear and crisp. Everything is furry. Quite disturbing.
My sister (lucky girl) just got back from a cruise, where her boyfriend proposed to her. I don’t know if boyfriend is the proper term, seeing that she’s 7 years older than me, but what else am I supposed to call him? They haven’t set a date yet, but hopefully I’ll be able to go down for the wedding with TOH and the kids.
TSM has decided he’d like to go out for the football team here in the county. They have teams for all ages, and he’s quite interested. It would mean giving up my Wednesday nights and my Saturdays. But TSM needs some sort of activity to let off some steam. He’s such a rambunctious little man.
So, I think I may knit for a bit before bedtime, but I’m not promising anything.
