Still Not In a Knitting Mood
I’m still feeling pretty blah about everything right now. Knitting has taken a back seat to just about everything else.
Tonight I played with the cable to sync my cell phone to my laptop. Don’t I lead an exciting life?
I got the new Family Circle Easy Knitting Plus Crochet in the mail this afternoon. I hated a lot of it. This looks like another magazine that I might let my subscription run out on. Some of the things I did like were the cabled satchel, and the wide ribbed sweater in GGH/Muench “Bali”. My lace obsession continues with the Triangular Shawl done in “Baby Kid Extra”. That looks like a nice simple gift shawl.
I hated all of the crochet bathing suits and beach cover-ups. Ugly, ugly, ugly. And something weird was going on with all the shots of the model in those pictures. She looked strangely stocky, like the pictures were manipulated.
So, I’m going to watch the end of American Idol and then head off to bed.
