Another Winding Day
I spent my morning winding 23 hanks of yarn. Which, believe it or not, was a relaxing start to my day. TSM and I were the only ones in the house awake, and he was busy watching cartoons. So the Fluffle cats and I spent the morning in the spare bedroom, winding yarn. It’s the room that catches all the morning sun, so it was nice and warm, and there’s a soothing rhythm to winding hanks from the swift.
We also had to play a few rounds of “grab the string”, and “toss the yarn”. But the cats are fairly well behaved where yarn is concerned.
Otherwise, today has been quiet and non-eventful. I’m currently working on a pair of scrunchies for a friend, but that’s about it.
Right now, I’m listening to the rain come pouring down outside, and the wind blowing fiercely. It’s making me sleepy, and that makes it hard to keep on crocheting.
