Friday again
Gad. I never thought this week would end. And it’s really not over yet. I’m home being “single mom” while TOH is off playing computer games with the guys from work. And TSM doesn’t want the only thing I’m offering for dinner. So I’m not really feeling exactly chipper at the moment.
I am still working on the report from hell at the office, and still have no idea when they’re going to schedule the meeting. So, it gets put to the side.
I’m poking along on my exchange project, but I realized that I need to have it finished by the end of this month, not the end of April as I’d originally thought. So I need to get my butt in gear. Sounds like my plan for tomorrow.
While cruising Wendy’s blog the other day, I saw she’d mentioned a knitting link I don’t think I’d ever seen before. The Knitting Garden Monthly E-Zine. I really liked the Chinese Tapestry Slip Stitch Hat. It looks like an interesting pattern to try with different color combinations.
I was going to go down to Old Town Alexandria today at lunch for the opening of Knit Happens. But I ended up taking a nap at lunch instead. Maybe I can convince Klumpen to head down there with me tomorrow or Saturday.
Right now, it’s time for Stargate, and I need to work on that exchange gift.
