Work, Work, Workity
Work was insanely busy today. But, I got things done, so that’s a plus. On the minus side, I ended up bringing work home. I’ve been working on a project, so everything else just got shoved to the side of my desk. I brought it home to sort it all out, and maybe do a little work on it this weekend.
Today was another no knitting day so far. I was too tired again at lunch, and I’ve only just gotten home about 45 minutes ago. I think I will work on the edging for the Pie Wedge Shawl this evening. My Mom’s coming down to visit on Valentine’s Day weekend, and it’ll make a good gift for her. Of course, I also need to finish the shawl for her friend by then, too.
Pandionna and Rumblelizard both mentioned a real moron today in their diaries. I went and read his feebleminded drivel. It amazes me, though it doesn’t surprise me, that there are such repugnant people in this world. People who have no love for animals of any kind have something seriously wrong with them. Studies have shown that there is a connection between people who harm animals and people who harm other people. Someone who hates animals as much as this sickening individual does is not someone I’d willingly have as a guest in my home.
