Snow Day
Well, here we go again, another snow day. We’ve been having freezing rain and drizzle all day long, and it’s expected to change back to more snow tonight. I couldn’t get my car out of our carport because our driveway is a sheet of ice. TOH was going to drive us both to work, but then once we heard the forecast we decided that one of us should stay home with the kids. Rather than both of us being stuck at work, or stuck in some massive delay on the highways, I opted to be here. Not that I have the leave for it, but what can you do?
The federal government was all sent home 3 hours early, so I’m hoping that my boss will give me credit for those. It would certainly save my leave balance.
