Quandries Aplenty
I have a quandry. I’ve been working on this un-named project. It has pushed everything else onto the back burner. Now it turns out that I might not need the project. I’m not sure what I want to do about it.
Some history: I started knitting this project because I needed to come up with a gift for a friend in an exchange group. The person who was supposed to send to her was extremely, ridiculously late, and the rest of us were going to make it up to her. So I started this project.
Now, the recipient has received her gift from the original exchange, but I am still working on the project. So, do I finish it and give it to her anyway? Keep it for myself? Rip it out and use the yarn for the pattern for which it was originally intended? Or finish it and give it to someone else?
I’m just not sure how I want to handle this one.
I spent my weekend doing a lot of nothing. I’m feeling very unmotivated lately. I’m playing with some blogging software, to upload on my main domain, but it’s still got a bit of fiddling to do before I go live with it.
Which also leaves me with a quandry. What do I do with the year’s worth of entries I have here? Do I keep them up and link to them, do I painstakingly transfer them over, do I delete them?
Nothing but questions, today. No answers.
