Retrospective
Well, I’m feeling less cranky today, which is a good thing. No sense ending the year in a snit.
And, we have no cavities, so that’s a positive note for the end of the year as well.
I’m glad that I’ve found great blogs to read, like Pandionna, Rumblelizard, Idiot Milk, Wendy Knits and many others. I have found things that made me laugh and think, and those are very good things.
I have finished at least 20 knitting projects (counting pairs of socks, not each individual sock), 5 complete sewn outfits, and several cakes.
I’m learning more and more what I like to knit and what I don’t. What works for me, and how to read my stitches better. Lace is a wonderful tool for teaching yourself why and how things work (or don’t) in knitting.
I’ve been grateful to have married my best friend more times than I can count. I have watched my children grow into wonderful people. I have had wonderful times with friends near and far. I’ve gone to fantastic concerts.
All in all, it’s been a good year.
