Well I thought about the Army….
I missed all the terrible storms we had here yesterday. We had one at the office, but it was over within 30 minutes, and didn’t do any damage. I had even left the car windows open, and didn’t even get the seats wet.
TOH got stuck at his office for a while, though, because at one point the wind was blowing so hard that the trees were bending almost all the way over. They ended up waiting it out instead of trying to drive in it.
And at home, we barely got any rain or thunder and lightning. So, we were lucky. Who knows what today’s weather will bring.
I didn’t get any knitting done yesterday. But. I did manage to get all the decorative top-stitching done on Klumpen’s fairy dress. It’s looking “rustic” which is the look she was going for. I would help her more tonight, but TOH and I have other plans.
We’ll be heading up to Merriweather Post to see Tori Amos and Ben Folds in the “Lottapianos Tour”. I’m not sure which one I’m looking forward to the most.
I picked up the latest Wilton Yearbook the other day, and it makes me want to bake cakes again. There’s never enough time in the day, and I really don’t need all the fat and calories that comes with the cake. I need to go back and dig up some more of my cake pictures to be scanned.
That’s another entry on the “When I have more time” list.
