Could someone in this family please stay healthy?

Today is a non-knitting entry kinda day. I’m still feeling “knitting-slumpy”, and way beyond tired. I took my lunch early and took my nap, only instead of an hour, it lasted an hour and a half, even though I’d set an alarm.

TOH had been at the hospital since last night. He’s been having chest pains, and decided he’d get it checked out. This has happened before, and it turned out to be mostly nothing, but better safe than sorry. They’re thinking (again) that it is probably gastrointestinal. He needs to lose that beachball he’s been carrying around. I need to lose a few pounds myself, so we both need to get off our butts and work at it together. I keep telling him (jokingly) that he’s not insured for enough to kick off and die on me.

I finally heard from my Doctor’s office on neurologists, and have made an appointment with one that’s only 5 miles away from my office. Of course, the appointment isn’t until July 2, but that’s better than the late August the other doctor could offer me.

I played with my new sewing machine last night. I love this machine! One step buttonholes RULE! I spent about an hour of so, just fiddling with it, and seeing what it can do. I’m pleased with my purchase. I also lost my surgically sharp seam ripper somewhere in the bedroom. I seems to have evaporated while I was moving things around. Hopefully I won’t find it with my feet in the middle of the night.

This weekend, I’m really going to try to finish the baby cardigan. It’s so close to being done, and the baby is due any day now, so I really want to give it to them before the Dad takes time off to stay home.

And, we’ve got the Norah Jones concert tomorrow night. I’m looking forward to that, definitely!
