Oh Crap! Another perfectly good nap spoiled by the working world.
Jeez. Another day down the drain, lost to fatigue. After the sleep study on Friday night, I have been trying to get my body back into a regular sleep schedule (not like I really have a regular sleep schedule) and it’s just not working. I slept most of Sunday and Monday away, and am just now starting to feel semi-alert again.
I really hope that the study comes up with some answers. I’m tired of feeling like I’m seeing the world through a thick layer of vaseline and gauze. And yes, I know I’d sleep better and have more energy if I exercized more, but at this point, I just don’t have the energy to exercise at all. A definite catch-22.
And focus? What focus? I make lists of things to be done, and forget where I put the list. Take notes and lose the notebook. Sleep deprivation sucks.
Knitting wise, I have been making good progress on the sweater for my friend’s baby. I have 8 more rows to go before the back is finished. It’s made with a faux cable design at the yoke, and seed stitch at the hem. I’m using the Denim Tweed Plymouth Encore, and I like the way it’s coming along.
I haven’t touched the Kat Shawl since Friday, other than to move it to the other side of my chair. I’m trying to concentrate (as much as I can) on the baby sweater since we’re throwing a surprise shower for the Father on the 30th.
I did manage to play a bit more with my new camera and some editing software. I found PhotoPlus 5.5, and it seems to be what I need as far as making my files web-sized. If I take the pictures at the setting for printing, I end up with files that are way too huge to load on a web page in a reasonable amount of time. But, if I take the pictures at a web friendly setting, they really aren’t print quality. So, I needed something to convert between the two, and the camera included software doesn’t cover it. PhotoPlus seems to be ok for shrinking file size without losing too much quality.
Tonight is the Series Finale of Buffy, and the Season Finale of Smallville, so I’d better find some mindless knitting to work on during the two.
