A pleasant night’s sleep to all
Just a quick entry to say I’m exhausted and need some sleep. Which means that I’ll probably sleep like a rock at the sleep study tonight, and nothing “bad” will show up. Like when your car makes a noise, but the second you take it to the repairman, the noise disappears.
We found out that J* was “removed from the rolls” at his high school for non-attendance. Basically, he quit going, so they said the heck with him. He’s 18, supposedly an adult, and they’re not going to chase after someone who doesn’t want to be there. Still no idea where he’s living, and no clue why he was asked to leave his friend’s house, though. I think TOH wants to play ostrich on this one.
Knitting wise, I managed to get two rounds done on the Kat Shawl border last night. Having the chart broken down, and markers delineating every repeat of the chart, really helps speed things along. It’s still going to take me a long time, but it’s a lot easier going when you break it down into small bites like that.
Hopefully my commute home won’t take me the 90 minutes it did last night. My average speed for the whole trip was 11 miles per hour. And don’t get me started on the morons without their headlights.
