Tuesday`s gone with the wind
Well, we went back to the doctor’s yesterday, and we have a new drug to try. It was great for getting to sleep, but I didn’t stay asleep, again. So, we’re setting up the full sleep study, so they can find out if there’s anything else going on. TOH is also headed to an Ear, Nose & Throat doctor to be evealuated for a somnoplasty. One of these days, both of us will enjoy a good night’s sleep. Or so we hope.
While sitting at the doctor’s, I worked on the first of the baby socks I’m making for my friend. I am already down to the toe decreases. I’m using Lorna’s Laces sock yarn in the Layette colorway. It’s pastel white, yellow and blue. The colors are very soft and gentle, and are making a sort of striped pattern on the sock. I plan to make a simple hat to go with the socks, too.
Once those are finished, I’ll make the cardigan I mentioned yesterday.
We also got to meet Klumpen’s new “boyfriend”, James, yesterday. He seems to be a nice enough kid, and he was willing to come over and hang out with her parents for over an hour, so that says a lot for him. We also met his mother and younger sister. Is it mean of me to be glad that he’s going to North Carolina for a month as soon as school gets out? I just don’t want her to rush things. This is her first “boyfriend”, and I remember how intoxicating those days were from my teen years.
