Progress
I like progress!
Huzzah!! I fixed the error on the fish lace, without having to pull my own hair out! This is definitely a project that’s helping me grow as a knitter. I’m learning to read my stitches much better. I can look at my work and tell a K2tog from an SSK without having to actually pull it off the needles and work it backwards.
I spent yesterday evening winding yarn from skeins to balls on the swift and ballwinder downstairs. I highly recommend both to anyone who doesn’t already own them. I love the feel of the yarn flowing through my fingers as I wind. Very soothing and hypnotic.
I wound the yarn for B’s gloves. I got some Lorna’s Laces in Charcoal from Jackie E-S at HeartStrings FiberArts. I also bought a really pretty silk/rayon blend yarn in deep blues and purples with a lace scarf pattern and wound that up as well.
