Dost thou not suspect my place? dost thou not suspect my years? O that he were here to write me down an ass! But, masters, remember that I am an ass; though it be not written down, yet forget not that I am an ass. . . . . O that I had been writ down an ass!

Explanations

Let me explain –
(pauses very briefly)

– No, there is too much.  Let me sum up.

I know, I’ve ignored this since Thursday.  I left the office early on Thursday, and went home to get some sleep.

On Friday, Klumpen and I stayed home so I could take her to the doctor about the barking seal cough.  Sinus infection, of course. Ick.

Knitting wise, I got lots done.  I made good progress on my Pacific Northwest Shawl.  I’m past the “sand-dollar lace” and about halfway through the “water lace”.  Next pattern is the “fish lace”.  I’m looking forward to it.  The water is a bitch, trying to keep track of all the yarn overs.

My next shawl will either be the Fibertrends “Sheep Shawl” or Joan Schrouder’s “Kilimanjaro Kat Shawl”. I haven’t made up my mind yet, but I still have to finish the current project, which includes the borders.

I also finished L’s fingerless gloves, in the requisite black. I’m sure she wore them this morning.
